Aerial Yoga or Air Yoga yoga expands the benefits of asana practice by using the support of a suspended hip-height hammock, also known as a “silk”.

In this class students will safely explore a practice of both elevation and grounding to increase flexibility, strength and improve structural alignment. Enjoy the ease of inversions and better backbends while challenging your mind and adding a little excitement to your day.

Beginner classes are designed to familiarize students with the building blocks of an Aerial Yoga practice. Students will learn how to balance using the fabric as support, flip in the air, and position the hammock in the right spot to not lose their lunch in down dog. This class also helps students gain body awareness and comfort in supported inversions.
